a question about streching monitor to fill black corners
I have samsung sync master T200 wich runs 1680 x 1050. running new games such as Chronicles of Riddick or call of duty 4 and 5 or f.e.a.r. 2 or red alert 3 at 1680 x 1050 is perfect everything is okay however, once i turn into like 800 x 600 or 1024 x 800? the monitor gets black stripes on corners. i heard that you can configure your cards or something to make thouse black stripes to dissapear (to strech the monitor) as you see i'm totaly noob and know nothing about this stuff... i'm even 80% shure everyone will blame me posting this but my question is how to configure thouse cards that 800x600 could be without black corners, streched up??? i mean where to go what to press(i tried pressing right button on desctop and went to nvidia control pannels but nothing..)?? btw i'm using nvidia enGTX280... sorry and thanks

Re: a question about streching monitor to fill black corners
If it all works great in the larger resolution,,,,,,,,,then Why do you want to go to 800 x 600 a smaller resolution. I say stick with the 1620 x 1200 and enjoy. just my 2 cents... My resolution is 3860 x 1024 in my gaming chair, ultra wide screen.

Yes that's absolutely true with me even. I enjoy playing on a wide screen more, playing on a wide screen just increases the pleasure of playing the game. Even I do keep the high resolutions but it is not that high than the normal ones. Why to keep a low resolution when you can have a higher one and enjoy more.
