Post Battlefield 2 + 2560x1600
Hi,
i just got my fingers on my new Dell 3007WFP and try now to adjust all my favorite games to its native resolution (2560x1600).

Half-Life 2 no prob
NFSMW runs fine with external config tool
UT 2006 had just to change the config
Flat Out 2 no prob

looks all really nice but...

BF 2....

i tried the thing with the startup string (..... +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 2560 +szy 1600)
and i tried to redo the config file (VideoSettings.setResolution 2048x1536@60Hz)

but every time after i start the game and log on my account the game seems to load and then simply is "gone with the wind"

the EA support has told me the same as i've already found in this forum: "BF 2 is not tested with widescreen resolution and we will not give any support that way ...."
thx EA....

anyone with an idea ?
